"MY DEBUT!"
Day 2
I am glad that
I always have my little kettle with me. That, plus my cup, spoon and tea bags
means I am only a little milk away from morning heaven!
Much of today
was spent revising some confused travel plans. I canīt and wonīt blame anyone
else for this but we could have gotten some help sooner. As it is now, we have
the flights we should have had but itīs costing me a lot of money. And a lot of
sleep!
Finally it was
time to focus on the show, the real reason I was here.
The venue was
wonderful. A 5000 capacity amphitheatre about 200 metres from the hotel lobby!
By the end of
sound check the sun was blazing onto the stage and we had to cover things to
prevent them from melting!
We all went to
the venue early enough to catch the tail-end of the HBB set and they sounded
really good .... the crowd love it and it felt great.
We raged
through our show the way only Live Fire can and it ended up being just a great,
great night.
Small
celebrations back-stage became a late dinner at the hotel and, for me at least,
a few last-minute interviews.
My debut in
Poland had been a big success!
