"THERE GOES THE NIGHT"

Day 2

After tossing and turning for 5 or 6 hours, I got up and went to work on the computer and then went through my normal morning routine as best I could.

Sharing the house with another Englishman was actually enjoyable and I found out that Steve is not only a great manager but a very good cook and a bit of a magician. But more of that later ...

It also meant my tea bags didnīt last long!

Today we had to go to a nearby, somewhat larger town for an in-store signing session and this was fun.

Magne had arrived from Stavanger and he would be supervising sound and working with the crew that was filming almost every one of my movements for a DVD project.

On the way home we stopped for lunch but I also had to stop at a local Troll monument, put my hand and foot in cement (for posterity presumably) and pick up some hand-made silver gifts for friends at home.

This was a fascinating place and part of a longer story but I think you have to visit for yourself to really enjoy and understand it!

The rest of the day consisted of more computer work, some World Cup football and food in the local restaurant.

They had put a blanket up on my bedroom window so it was a bit darker in there. Hopefully this will mean some sleep tonight ....
