"THERE
GOES THE SUN .... My first trip to Bulgaria in 2010"
Day 2
Didnīt sleep a
whole lot .... itīs getting more and more difficult to adjust to being away,
especially since Monica and I bought our new huge and very comfy bed!
Anyway, we
headed to a cool radio interview where we did some unplugged things and then to
lunch at The Red House.
I did manage a
short nap which helped but sound check was a bit of a mess. I had played at the
Camino last year and it was cool but, to be honest, we werenīt really properly
prepared for this show.
Sunrize did
their usual set and I tried to mix some solo songs with the songs I did with
them and this didnīt work.
It wasnīt just
the so-called ĻChalgaĻ chicks who wouldnīt stop talking, the sound was terrible
where I was and, well, letīs just say that I will do it differently next time!
But there were
a lot of very nice people there and it all ended well.
It was a
late night though so I didnīt hang around for too long. Toni had very kindly
brought me some sushi so I enjoyed that in my room and tried to sleep 7 or 8
hours.
